Officially debuted the low-budget smartphone Huawei – Huawei Y5 Lite with Android Oreo (Go Edition) and a display with an 18: 9 aspect ratio. It's a cheap smartphone, but certainly not the cheapest one.
The Y series in Huawei's offer has gained recognition in the middle-class and the entry-level segment, providing the right experience when used at affordable prices. This time the company decided to introduce into the offer a second model based on Android Oreo (Go Edition), which combines a sensible camera, a display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, and also a very compact housing. Such a telegram short is Huawei Y5 Lite .
Android Oreo (Go Edition) and screen 18: 9 are his strengths
The new entry level model works under the control of Android Oreo (Go Edition) , just like its predecessor. This is one of the few spectacular features in this model. Nevertheless, the rest of the specification is at a very low level and sometimes it reminds me of smartphones from a few years ago, although there are accents of modernity. Huawei offers a screen with a diagonal of 5.45 "and HD + resolution (1440 x 720 pixels). It is an IPS type matrix with 18: 9 proportions, but without rounded corners. Screen parameters are therefore decent for a smartphone from a low price point and thus enable comfortable browsing of websites and use of the telephone. MediaTek MT6739 is responsible for smooth operation, so the SoC consists of a processor whose four cores are based on the ARM Cortex-A53 architecture and have a clocking speed of up to 1.5 GHz. For graphics, the PowerVR Rouge GE8100 is compatible with 1GB of RAM . This kit should behave decently in everyday use in combination with light software. However, slowdowns will occur, and restoring applications from memory will take a long time. The data store is to have only 16GB of internal memory, less the system. However, it will be possible to expand by using a microSD reader that supports cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB. The rest of the specification is as follows:
- main camera 8MP (lens aperture f / 2.0);
- Selfie 5MP camera (lens aperture f / 2.4);
- LTE category four modem – download up to 150Mbps, send up to 50Mbps;
- dual SIM card slot – standard;
- single-band WiFi module;
- Bluetooth 4.2;
- microUSB 2.0 port;
- a 3020 mAh battery, without support for fast charging technology;
- dimensions: 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm;
- Weight: 142 g
Price and availability
Huawei Y5 Lite is available in black or blue, and its casing is made of plastic. The smartphone for this moment is available only in Pakistan, and its price has been set at 16499 Pakistani rupees, which gives us about 450 zlotys . With this money on the Polish market, you can now buy an Honor 7S smartphone , in which there is mainly 2GB of RAM, so the system should run a bit briskly. Of course, this is not an Android Go model, but the Huawei interface should not weigh the components down. Therefore, if the Huawei Y5 Lite were to debut in Poland, its price should not exceed PLN 400, although it will probably be an excessive price for many of you. source
