Biedronka store chain has been equipped with a durable, entry-level smartphone – Hammer Titan 2, which is ideal for difficult conditions. This model costs less than 350 zlotys, and therefore very little.
Hammer Titan 2 is a smartphone with a high-resistance housing , which uses a metal body, rubber inserts, and plastic. In other words, a typical rugged smartphone. It is not different in this respect from devices from the Chinese market. The housing meets the standards of the IP68 certificate, and therefore the equipment is able to withstand full immersion in water (when submerged to 1.5 meters for no more than 30 minutes), and falls from a height of up to one meter. For this it is resistant to dust. The smartphone has a replaceable battery , which is confirmed by the screws on the rear panel, with which the flap with the gasket is attached. Inside there are also two slots for nanoSIM cards. This model is quite heavy, as it weighs 224 g, with dimensions 140 x 74 x 15 mm.
Very, very basic technical specification, which seems to undermine the purchase of the Hammer Titan 2, if you are going to do more than just call the Internet sporadically.
Hammer Titan 2 is a low-budget smartphone, which is why the MediaTek MT6580 is responsible for performance , with four cores based on ARM Cortex-A7 architecture and a clock rate of 1.3 GHz. The SoC chip is supported by 1 gigabyte RAM memory, while the manufacturer has reserved 8 GB of built-in memory for data and applications. There was no possibility of further expansion by using a microSD reader (support up to 32 GB). The integrated Mali-400 chip is responsible for graphics. Software (Android version 7.0 Nougat) is presented in FWVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels) on a 4.0-inch display, which was made in IPS technology. Amateur of smartphone photography put to use was a 5-megapixel camera. The LED diode corresponds to the illumination of the pictures. Video connections are dedicated to the 2 Mpx camera. Using the main camera, it is possible to record videos in HD 720p resolution. The following modules are responsible for communication in Hammer Titan 2: Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi wireless module operating in N standard, 3G modem (HSDPA 21.1Mbps), microUSB 2.0 port, dual SIM card slot, as well as a GPS receiver. It is worth noting here that myPhone decided to use a standard card reader, so you can use the support for handling two SIM cards, as well as expand the memory through a microSD reader. The energy efficiency of the smartphone is ensured by a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh.
