Officially, the Meizu Note 8 debuted, and therefore the latest mid-range smartphone in the Chinese manufacturer's offer. This model will appeal to all those looking for a smartphone without indentation in the screen.
Meizu Note 8 is equipped with SoC Snapdragon 632 chip with artificial intelligence, which works with 4 GB of RAM.
Meizu Note 8 is another smartphone that is based on a project adopted by the manufacturer some time ago. We see a metal structure, no notch at the front, and a matt paint on the casing. The device has a 6.0-inch FHD + display (1080 x 2 160 pixels) with very thin edges on the side. The aspect ratio is 18: 9, and the maximum brightness is 450cd / m². Energy is provided by a 3600 mAh battery with a fast 18W (mCharge) charge. The smartphone works under the control of Flyme OS, which is based on the Android Oreo system. The SoC provided by Qualcomm, and more specifically Snapdragon 632, produced in the 14-nanometer lithographic process is responsible for performance in Meizu Note 8. SoC works with 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal memory has been reserved for the data. Of course with the possibility of further expansion by using a standard slot that supports microSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB. Snapdragon 632 consists of a processor equipped with eight Kryo 250 cores with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz, as well as the Adreno 506 graphics system.
On the back wall there are two cameras with support for artificial intelligence. On the front there is one, though it also supports artificial intelligence.
Meizu Note 8, as most smartphones have been equipped with a set of two lenses on the back wall. One of them is the main camera, while the additional one is to blur the background in the background, which (to do it more effectively) has a low resolution. The main camera has a 12MP lens aperture and f / 1.9 aperture . It is a Sony IMX362 sensor with a large 1.4 micron single pixel size and Dual Pixel AF. It consists of six elements and has a dual ISP image processor. The additional lens is a 5-megapixel sensor. In addition, there is a two-tone LED lighting diode. Selfie was dedicated to a single camera with 8MP resolution with f / 2.0 light. With its use it is possible to unlock the smartphone. As the form of security is also a fingerprint reader on the back wall.
Meizu has opted for standard communication facilities, which some may enjoy.
Communication facilities include the most basic solutions that can be found in almost any, cheap smartphone. We get a WiFi module in the IEEE802.11 a / b / g / n standard, Bluetooth 4.2 with BLE, GPS with GLONASS, as well as a dual (hybrid) SIM card slot that supports nano-standard cards. In the case of Dual SIM it is worth mentioning that only one slot can use packet data transmission in the LTE standard (by default the first slot). Of course, this is a Dual SIM standby. Only the microUSB port in the 2.0 standard was dedicated to wired communication. There was also a 3.5 mm mini-jack connector.
Sales start at the beginning of November, and the price seems adequate to the opportunities offered.
Meizu Note 8 will debut on the domestic producer's market on November 1 this year, and the suggested retail price seems adequate to the specification. The model equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory for data was priced at 1298 yuan , which after conversion and taxation gives us about 880 PLN. At the moment, the manufacturer does not anticipate other variants. source: Meizu
