Samsung officially unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A6s. This phone is much, much stronger than the Galaxy A6 + or Galaxy A8, and yet it costs less than a thousand zlotys in China! This shows how little Europe means to Samsung compared to China.
Earlier, I wrote about a special event on which Samsung announced a truly frameless smartphone without a notch. This event was not without reason, because the manufacturer showed in China a new smartphone, which is Galaxy A6s .
What does Galaxy A6s offer?
Let's start with the fact that Galaxy A6s is (probably) the first Samsung smartphone, which Samsung did not produce . Everything points to the fact that the Koreans commissioned it to Wintech, which produces phones mainly for … Xiaomi. The malicious people would probably say that the Galaxy A6s should then go to Biedronka;) This move was to be dictated by the desire to reduce prices, so much more importantly on the extremely competitive Chinese market. The plan has burned out, but more on that in a moment.Let's start with the components, because they fail in the Samsung medium. In this case, it is very different, because the Galaxy A6s is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with the Adreno 512 graphics chip and as much as 6 GB of RAM . It is a powerful set that offers higher performance than all units found in Galaxy A smartphones currently available in Poland! Only the Galaxy A9 will offer such power, but it will appear in Poland only for a month, and in addition is much, much more expensive. For photos taken with a dual 12MP (f / 1.8) + 2 MP main camera and a 12-megapixel selfie camera, the manufacturer has allocated 64 or 128 GB of memory, of course, with the possibility of expansion. Galaxy A6s also got a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6 inches, Full HD + resolution (2280×1080) and 18.5: 9 aspect ratio. On board the Galaxy A6s we also find a 3300 mAh battery .
The price of Galaxy A6s is surprisingly low!
How do you think, how much could Samsung evaluate a medium with Snapdragon 660 in China? The equivalent of 1500, or maybe even 2000 zlotys? Nothing could be more wrong – the 64 GB version can be bought in the Middle Kingdom for 1799 yuan (about 980 zlotys), while the 128 GB variant costs 2199 yuan (about 1200 zlotys). As for Samsung, these are sensational prices – other Galaxy models are not so priced attractive in China. As you can see, Samsung wants to regain influence in the Chinese market and just started to try. In Europe, it probably does not have to be done, that 's why we get much weaker smartphones for more money . Sad but true.
