I have been using Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 for a month. Why do I think that the best smartphone up to PLN 1,500 is also the most important smartphone in 2018? I will try to answer this question in the following text.
As some of you may remember, some time ago I changed from the iPhone 6S to the incredibly well priced POCOPHONE F1. I do not regret the decision, and in this text I will try to present arguments that confirm that the product of the daughter company Xiaomi is the most important smartphone of 2018 . Although I certainly do not think that the best on the market.
POCOPHONE F1 is a breakthrough smartphone
If we look at the valuation of smartphones in 2018, the first reaction is usually a quick grip for the head. The limit of 7,000 was broken , bypassing that by 1000 zlotys lower. And it was almost unnoticed, because the sales pucks were soaring upwards – as every year. Why, then, does he use a 5 times cheaper phone? Because he shocked me. Previously, I used the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus smartphone and thought that in the quality / price category it would be hard for me to find something more interesting. Of course, POCOPHONE F1 is a lot more expensive, but it is impossible to indicate a better product available in stores for PLN 1,500.This situation reminds me of another company: OnePlus. But not the OnePlus we know today, because it's flagship with a full mug with slightly higher prices, but I mean the One model . I bought it for 1200 zlotys in a Polish store, while similarly equipped models of competition have long exceeded 2,500 zlotys. And like Xiaomi now, it shocked me that the smartphone can offer so much, for so little. And that's exactly what POCOPHONE F1 did to me. I had never bought a phone before, until the first reviews appeared . Thanks to this, I also had the chance to avoid so-called "childhood problems", because the updates usually dealt with shortcomings. This time I could not stand it and I thought that I had to check how it was possible to create such a smartphone. And where is the catch.
Why are expensive flagships a poor choice?
The POCOPHONE F1 can basically be called a flagship. Though you have to think about what it basically means. Efficiency? Here is indisputable, only 8 GB of RAM memory was lacking to full happiness. The camera? Well, I will not argue here, Note 9 is not. Production quality? It depends on who likes what, plastics suit me. Is it a screen? Here I have the biggest accusations, but I've already written about it in my opinion after a month of use. So where does the headline come from? Because the real reason why POCOPHONE F1 hit my pocket is the battery . I use a lot of smartphone, I play a lot on it, and because of the terribly bad availability of cable internet in my place of residence, I always use a mobile router. Such a scenario does not give a chance to survive any smartphone and I am aware of it. But at least one refill during the day and a whole day of work should be enough, when the use of the hotspot is eliminated. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/887900/xiaomi-pocophone-f1-test/ And POCOPHONE gives it to me . Is there any other such efficient equipment that would meet my requirements? Sure, for example Samsung Galaxy Note 9, perhaps Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Huawei P20 Pro. What connects all these appliances? They cost much more, but of course they offer more. I asked myself if it is worth paying extra and honestly I do not see the point. First of all, they're all glass. Second, they all have better cameras. Thirdly, they all have NFC and better screens. And none of these features suits me. And here we come back to OnePlus One, which was exactly the same model – had shortcomings in relation to the best, which for most did not matter . That's why I think that POCO F1 is the most important smartphone in 2018 . Not the best at all, but showing that you can have too much. And let such equipment be as much as possible. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/900398/xiaomi-pocophone-f1-opinia/ At the end I have only one but. If POCOPHONE F1 was a member of the Android One program , he would not miss anything. Maybe in a year?
