Samsung is preparing a new smartphone of the lower middle class – the Galaxy J6 Prime. Thanks to Onleaks, we got to know its official appearance, and on the internet there was a partial technical specification. What can you expect from your upcoming smartphone?
Performance typical of the lower middle class
Samsung Galaxy J6 Prime is to use the most powerful SoC system from the Snapdragon 4xx series, namely Snapdragon 450 , which has eight ARM Cortex A53 cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz, as well as Adreno 506 graphics chip. There is also support from 3GB / 4GB of RAM. This set is sufficient for everyday tasks. Slowdowns will occur, and applications will load more slowly than in the case of smartphones with 600 series devices, but this is understandable. If you intend to buy this model, consider only a stronger version, because in the basic case, it may be that RAM is not enough. In the case of the Galaxy J6 Prime, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal memory will be reserved for data, of which about 22GB and 51GB should be left to the user, respectively. It also has to be a microSD reader, using which it is possible to expand the memory. The smartphone will use the Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.0 inches, which is characterized by HD + resolution (1520 x 720 pixels), which with this configuration translates into 280 PPI. The screen has an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The smartphone is supposed to work under the control of the Google Android 8.1 Oreo system with the Samsung interface.
Samsung design changes
https://youtu.be/i4S8uf8GdXg It is surprising that Galaxy J6 Prime does not have a fingerprint reader on the front or back of the case. This does not mean, however, that Samsung has abandoned this security. Koreans decided to put it on one of the sides and it was integrated with the power button , as until recently it was done on smartphones primarily Sony. What's more, even the loudspeaker grill is on the same edge as the biometric sensor. On the front panel above the screen, the manufacturer has embedded a dedicated camera Selfie, which works with LED lighting. On the back there is a set of two lenses.
It is also worth knowing
According to the report, Galaxy J6 Prime will be sold as Galaxy J6 Plus in some markets . As we well know Galaxy J6 is currently available for around 13,000 Indian rupees in India, and therefore we expect Galaxy J6 Prime to be put up for sale at a similar price, or maybe a little higher.
