As promised, Huawei announced a new mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market – Huawei Maimang 7.
The official presentation of Huawei Maimang 7 , and therefore the latest mid-range smartphone, which does not leave the producer's home market. however, there is nothing strange about it, because this smartphone is the Chinese equivalent of Huawei Mate 20 lite, which has recently made its debut on the Polish market.
All in all, Huawei decided only to change the name, so Maimang 7 and Mate 20 lite will look the same.
Huawei Mate 20 lite is now available on the Polish market, and its suggested retail price has been set at PLN 1,599 . This means that the smartphone, when it is introduced for sale in Poland, will be PLN 100 more expensive than its predecessor, which does not seem to be too high in price, considering the components used. In contrast, Huawei Maimang 7 is available in three colors – black, blue and yellow, and its price is set at 2399 yuan , which roughly gives us the amount of 1595 zlotys (including VAT). Currently available in pre-order, and regular sales will start on September 15. So you can see that it makes no sense to buy the Chinese variant Huawei Mate 20 lite. A major advantage of Huawei Maimang 7 is the SoC system, because HiSilicon Kirin 710 (4 x ARM Cortex-A73@2.2GHz + 4 x ARM Cortex-A53@1.7GHz) produced in a 12-nanometer lithographic process is responsible for performance. It is therefore a weaker version of Kirin 970, which makes us believe that in terms of performance, the smartphone will delight even more demanding consumers. SoC works with the appropriate amount of RAM, which in the most powerful configuration is 6GB. The ARM Mali G5, which is said to be 1.3 times more efficient than the GPU used in the Kirin 659 SoC, is responsible for the graphics performance. The smartphone has a 6.3-inch FHD + display (2340 x 1080) with very thin edges on the side. Of course, there is a screen cutout that is currently on the top and used by almost every manufacturer. The smartphone works under the control of EMUI 8.2 from Huawei, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The full specification of the Huawei Maimang 7 presents itself very well, which you can also judge for yourself.
