On the one hand, HTC is improving the defects of its flagship model, and on the other hand working on its poorer version, which should please people who do not plan to spend nearly PLN 4,000 on their smartphone. We have just seen the first sketches that show the look of the HTC U12 Life.
Less is worse?
Since I'm interested in technology, I remember that almost always buying a model of a smaller size was associated with the need to accept considerable hardware limitations. In addition to a few cases (iPhone SE, Xperia Compact series), the situation is that we are forced to make significant concessions regarding the performance of the device and support from the manufacturer. Why does it have to be like this? It is probably the desire of all corporations to force us to buy a top shelf device. Technologically possible, despite the smaller size of the housing, maintaining the same type of processor with the current capabilities would not be a major problem. After all, most people are able to give up some of the facilities that are only reserved for the most expensive products to get a similar specification.
HTC U12 Life shows itself on the first renderer
HTC is still trying to find a rescue and is preparing another smartphone from the middle school series. Perhaps this segment will turn out profitable for the producer.HTC U12 Life is expected to be the successor of the U11 Life. The first render confirms Paul's earlier reports regarding the dual camera on the rear panel. Its layout is known from earlier models of the Desire series, as well as from the Huawei P20 Lite or from the iPhone X. I will add that there is also a biometric sensor on the backs. Fans of ordinary screens will be satisfied. We do not see a note in the drawing! For now, HTC strongly opposes market trends and stays on the normal, flat screen line. Is this caused by the price of the display? Perhaps one of the producers is trying to get rid of storage surplus with screens with old design, and with the current financial situation of the company is a good opportunity.
A reasonable specification, good price and can be a hit!
As a reminder, the heart of the device is Snapdragon 636 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. Long battery life will be ensured by a 3600 mAh cell .The likely date of presentation of the HTC U12 Life is the end of this year , similar to the U11 Life model, which appeared on the market in November 2017. If, once again, the Taiwanese do not come up with a brilliant idea of valuing the device for an abstract area of PLN 2,000, we can expect a good competition for the Huawei P20 Lite. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/871624/htc-u12-life-specyfikacja/ source: nieuwemobiel
