Apple will kill the mini jack in this year's iPads. Will you miss this connector in tablets with the logo of a bitten apple?

iPad, like an iPhone

Apple for the first time decided to throw the mini-jack from the iPhone during the premiere of the iPhone 7. For many it was a shock, but after a few years such play no one is surprised. I see myself more and more people with wireless headphones. It seems that we are free to leave cables in this area. However, not all producers give up. There are still supporters of both listening to the music flowing on the cable, as well as the mini-jack on the smartphone. For many it's a must-have of this device. Of course, some producers decided to follow Apple's step. Will it be the same with tablets? I am very curious about it. It turns out that iPads, which will probably make their debut this year, will also be deprived of a mini-jack. Information on the lack of a mini-jack slot has been published by MacOtakara. From this source, we have repeatedly received proven leaks a few weeks before the premiere of devices. Will it be the same this time?

No mini-jack, no adapter in the box. That's how business is done

This year's iPads will not receive a mini-jack. However, this is not all. Apparently the box will not see the adapter from the Lightning connector on the mini-jack. This means that an interested person will have to look at accessories and add a bit more money.

iPad Pro 2018 – what will it be like?

According to rumors, this year's iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch screen is to be 247.5 x 178.7 x 6 mm. In turn, the model from the previous year has dimensions of 250.6 x 174.1 x 6.1 mm. So we see that it will be a bit smaller. In the case of a larger tablet, i.e. a version with a 12.9-inch screen, we will also have a slight reduction in dimensions. The largest iPad Pro will get the dimensions: 280 x 215 x 6.4 mm. Here for comparison there will be a bigger difference, because the current version has dimensions: 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9 mm. iPads will also lose the Touch ID button for the new Face ID biometric security. What's more, the Smart Connector interface will appear completely different. At the moment it is available on the side frame. Meanwhile, in this year's versions it will be near the Lightning connector. We can therefore safely assume that the orientation of the keyboard will change. ipadach-pro-na-grafice-cad The new iPads will be equipped with a Full Active LCD screen and Pixel Eyes technology from Japan Display. The devices will debut in September. Will it be an iPad of dreams? Probably in the following weeks there will be further leaks and perhaps even photos of new devices. Source: MacOtakara
