With three retractable cameras, the new OPPO Find X was to become an innovative miracle for the Chinese. At first glance, the model arouses admiration and it is impossible to refuse interesting design and ingenuity. However, the appearance is not everything. The last test of its strength causes mixed feelings.
Innovative Oppo and Vivo smartphones
Recently, we were delighted with the durability of the sliding webcam in the innovative VIVO Nex S model, which can become a precursor of a new direction in the design of smartphones. This type of phones appears more, and the sliding mechanisms seem to fit perfectly into the prevailing fashion of stretching the screens to the boundaries of the housing. Users are increasingly expecting devices with larger screens that will additionally fill almost the entire front of the smartphone. That is why most flagships and even mid-range phones can boast of displays larger than 6 inches. Honor will also appear opposite customers' expectations, presenting Note 10 with a screen size of almost seven inches . The cameras on the front and sensors always stand in the way of creating the perfect, frameless smartphone. Manufacturers are outdone in ideas for their placement – Apple put the lens in the notch, and VIVO and OPPO hid them inside the smartphone in the form of moving parts .
Oppo on the JerryRigEverything channel
Moving mechanisms, however, raise concerns about their strength – it is easier to break them or damage them. From these doubts, we were led by VIVO Nex S , who brilliantly coped with the fitness test on the JerryRigEverything channel. The same Youtuber also took up the title character of this text. OPPO Find X has been scratched , which it handled satisfactorily , like most of the models tested by Zack. The AMOLED screen was also exposed to fire and lasted for 14 seconds . However, the sliding camera turned out to be moving from side to side, which somewhat badly testifies to its reliability. However, this is nothing.More problems occurred with the standard break attempt phone. Observing similar tests, we can see that most smartphones are solid enough to withstand a few seconds of pressure . This time it was different. It took just a moment for the OPPO Find X to make a sound of crunch, the glass broke , and the whole screen structure was damaged, leaving dead pixels in place of the fracture. This is a rather unpleasant situation on the phone, which costs about 3300 PLN . Of course, no one buys a smartphone with the idea of breaking it later, however, such damage should not happen in a phone of this class. It can not be concealed that the testers often exaggerate the number of tortures and attempts that present-day smartphones display – most of them (except for falls) our phones will not experience. Unless, we will have an exceptionally bad mood. Source: JerryRigEverything / PhoneArena
