The Galaxy Note 9 will shame its predecessor, and Samsung will teach Apple how to do the charger

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 promises to be a "borer" almost ideal. The revolution will not bring, but will see interesting improvements from the previous generation. We especially enjoy the above-average battery capacity. We've also learned about the new S Pen features and the Wireless Charger Duo charger.

This year, Samsung is betting on evolution. In the case of Galaxy S9 it ended with a small disaster, because it's the worst selling Samsung flagship for several years. As far as Galaxy Note 9 is concerned, there will also be no revolution in his case, but Samsung will improve one important thing that was missing in the S series flagship.

Galaxy Note 9 with a 4000 mAh battery

For several years, Samsung has not been crazy about the capacity of links in its equipment, partly taught by the experience after the crash, which turned out to be Galaxy Note 7. This is probably only one of the reasons for this behavior of the manufacturer, but apparently he finally came to the conclusion that the combine harvester it's worth packing a capacious battery and this is what the Galaxy Note 9 will get.

For a long time, there has been unofficial information that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will receive a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh . I did not want to believe it, but now I have to, because one of the Brazilian offices has confirmed it. Battery capacity in Galaxy Note 9 will be 21% (700 mAh) more than we could find in the Galaxy Note 8 (3300 mAh). In my opinion, this is great news. If the Galaxy Note 9 is to be a device not only for fun, but also for work, it should offer a solid battery life . Sure, you can always save yourself by fast or wireless charging, but in my opinion the possibility of uncompromising use of equipment without the need to monitor the state of charge is in my opinion at a premium.

Wireless Charger Duo

In the previous section, I mentioned wireless charging, so it's time for a brief overview of the Wireless Charger Duo . It's nothing more than a new Samsung induction charger. A photo of a box from this device has been sent to the network, thanks to which we learned that the charger can quickly charge two smartphones at once or a smartphone together with a watch (by default it will be a Galaxy Note 9 and a new Galaxy Watch). It turns out that Samsung will embarrass Apple, which also presented a similar AirPower charger, but still can not put it on sale.

What will S Pen with Bluetooth do?

One of the main new features of the Galaxy Note 9 is the enhanced S Pen with Bluetooth connectivity . Until now, we did not know what the possibilities would give, but the irreplaceable XDA came to the rescue. It was discovered that thanks to the button in the stylus you will be able to:

  • control the music (pause, resume, switch and scroll),
  • take a picture (something like a shutter release button),
  • unlock and lock the phone (if you do not use a biometric lock, in other case S Pen will wake up the equipment),
  • the stylus has to interact with applications, but it is still not known to what extent
  • pressing and holding will launch a dedicated application that we will assign.

In addition, Samsung will give users the option of configuring the stylus after single or double pressing of the button.
