For fans of the most budget solutions, LG has prepared a phone removed from a few years ago – this is strikingly similar to Redmi 5A, Phoenix Plus. Does a smartphone without a fingerprint reader and having a coarse specification have a chance to appear on the market in 2018?
From the beginning there was no revolution in the upcoming Phoenix Plus. Let's start with the fact that it was hard to hear about a new device from LG at all. The company in cooperation with the AT & T network has prepared a smartphone from the lowest shelf, which seems to be very outdated and does not fit into the year in which we live. Was it worth it? To cost the equivalent of PLN 470, Phoenix Plus does not crush the hardware specification and can only appeal to die-hard smartphone supporters with huge frames at the top and bottom, as well as those who pay the most attention to the price. But let's take a closer look at him.
Only the basic components of Phoenix Plus
The LG Phoenix Plus has been equipped with a huge 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720 px , which is hard to call stunning, and a density of 277 pixels per inch can effectively interfere with everyday use excessive pixelosis . Attention is also attracted by huge frames on both vertical sides of the screen, through which it does not fill up to 70% of the front. The smartphone works under the control of a quad-core Snapdragon 425 supported by 2 GB of RAM . This configuration will provide decent performance when performing only basic tasks with a smartphone. I would not expect super-fast action after it, but it all depends on proper optimization. The similarity to last year's Xiaomi Redmi 5A, also equipped with Snapdragon 425 and two gigabytes of RAM, is obvious, but the model defended better use of the processor's capabilities by placing the 13 Mpx camera in the set. The Phoenix Plus boasts only an 8 megapixel back sensor and a 5 Mpx front lens with portrait mode.
The ideal low budgeter?
LG Phoenix Plus works under the control of Android 8.1 Oreo and has a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh and 16 GB of built-in memory with the possibility of expanding with a memory card up to 128 GB – these features seem to be the greatest strengths of the device. Phoenix Plus has been equipped with a fingerprint reader. The telephone can be unlocked by pressing the button on the back of the housing. To sum up, a smartphone can be a good choice only for those people who only look for basic components or price for the quality and comfort of use. However, it is impossible not to notice that the better option seems to be Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which we can buy on a good occasion already for less than 400 PLN , and we get the same as in the more expensive LG. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/859688/lg-x2-2018-oficjalnie/ Source: PhoneArena
