Do you have Samsung Galaxy A8? Check the updates – Oreo on the horizon!

Koreans are not shining yet another year in the field of updating their smartphones. The multitude of models does not allow for quick updates, and what's more often even as much as the presented models, still run under the control of the old version of Android. Samsung, however, got to work and makes Oreo available on the Galaxy A8.

What is the Galaxy A series?

Samsung, the leader in the sale of smartphones in the world, and in many cases the technology pioneer, can not keep up with the updates of its phones for a long time. I do not know if I would have enough fingers on my hands if I had to count how many times the manufacturer promised that everything would change and soon the updates for their products would be superfast.

Releasing the first generation of the Galaxy A5 model in 2015, the manufacturer began an interesting trend in the market, and together with the premiere of its successor showed that, at a reasonable price, we can receive many features of the flagship. Such a procedure appealed to the whole world and many customers decided on a strong average who could offer a lot. In 2017 we waited for the next refreshing of the A5 model, but this was the last release of this series. This year Galaxy A8 appeared, which was treated by many as a direct successor of the model with the A5 number, although Samsung never officially confirmed it, and what's more, not so long ago presented Galaxy A6, and A6 +, which seem to be more similar to the predecessor . Unfortunately, the supposed successor was significantly different from what we knew from the predecessors. All by the price, which was set at 2099 PLN. Through the vast majority of the world tech scene, as well as on the pages of gsmManiaKa, in Paweł's test, the main complaint was too high a price, in relation to the possibilities offered by a smartphone.

Galaxy A8 finally with Oreo, but …

Although Android Oreo premiered on vacation in 2017, and the phone was officially announced in December 2017, he did not have the latest firmware version on board. Best of all, since the launch of Android Oreo almost a year has passed, and only now on Samsung servers we can see the emerging updates to the model Galaxy A8. Unfortunately, we can not see Poland among the first updates, but let's hope that this is a matter of up to a few weeks and in July users will be able to enjoy Android version eight.

In the meantime, there were many products of competing companies, which priced often often significantly deviated from the Galaxy A8 level, and what's more they belonged to a different segment of low-endów, and already competed with Android Oreo. It is worth recalling that many users of Google Pixel, already have the pleasure to use the version of the ninth system with robocik, called P. It only gives a place to develop the wings of competition that only awaits such stumbling giant to strengthen its position in the market. Those who can not wait for the new version, I recommend visit a special page where you can see live updates coming over the air for Samsung smartphones. Information about the update, will certainly also appear on ManiaKu, so I encourage you to like profiles on facebook , and twitter to receive current information about new articles. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/804608/test-samsung-galaxy-a8-2018/ source: SamMobile
