The latest flagship smartphone from LG – G7 ThinQ has just had its first software update. The update, in addition to the amendments, will give users the opportunity to use the new recording mode in 4k resolution.
LG every year is more and more trying and positively surprises with each new flagship premiere. Unfortunately, it does not always keep up with the competition, hence the G7 model lacked, among others recording in 4k quality at 60 fps . LG decided to change it and released a software update that adds this mode to the camera function. However, this is not the end of changes, we also have several improvements to the system and improvement (and already so great) stability of operation . For now, the update is available only for devices intended for the South Korean market, but in the coming weeks it will also reach other regions.
Super quality for only 6 minutes
Like any Android smartphone, LG G7 ThinQ also has a recording time limit of Ultra HD at 60 frames per second after the camera upgrade. It was limited to 6 minutes – it was a well-thought-out operation and aimed at protecting the device against overheating . At 30 fps, we will still be able to enjoy unlimited recording time. Of course, we can use the new mode both when we make a video, using the camera with a wide-angle lens and using the main camera.
Better photos and new shooting modes
As a reminder, LG G7 has two cameras with a resolution of 16 Mpix. The main one has a lens with f / 1.6 brightness, while the wide angle lens has the value f / 1.9. The new software also brings improvements in photo mode. We get the Super brightness mode, thanks to which we will get even better quality of night scenes or those performed in low light conditions. Auto focus has been improved as well as color reproduction to make them even more natural. I think that many LG G7 ThinQ owners will be happy about this message. The holders of the smartphone have nothing else but to wait for the update of the devices intended for the European market. Source: Phonearena
