We already have the premiere of iOS 12 behind us. Some like the Apple system, some hate. Some people love iPhones, others are not able to use them. I belong to the other group and I have important reasons for it.
Why is the iPhone a smartphone not for me?
I started my adventure with Apple devices a few years ago, and the first iPhone I used was iPhone 5s . The smartphone was in the palm of your hand. He was small and handy. It easily fits in the pocket of every pants or jacket. A simple and elegant phone. And that would be enough from the pluses. I tried to break many times and finally after about 8 years of Android adventure I switched to iOS. Each time it ended the same, namely the apple landed at the auction. iPhones are just boring like tripe oil , and I do not like boredom climbing into my life. I change telephones quite often, every 6 to 10 months. I withstand the iPhone … 3 days . You see so well. It took 3 days to heal your interest in Apple phones. There are several reasons that have discouraged me to the Apple ecosystem.
The iPhone is not as fast as it is painted
Several iPhones have passed through my hands. I had contact with the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 6s every day because my girlfriend used Apple smartphones for almost two years. Luckily, after two years of torture, she got smart and bought the Samsung Galaxy S8, which she is very pleased with. 🙂 https://youtu.be/ftnNsXFS5q4 [/ embed] iPhone is not so fast . I agree that everything is nicely animated and pleasing to the eye, but Android smartphones are able to open applications faster. Saying that the latest iPhones launch individual programs much faster than (even flagship) lagdroids are far from the truth. Just look at what OnePlus did. After all, the equipment of this manufacturer is faster than smartphones with apple on the casing. Top Samsungs are not slower at all, and the Internet is a lot of benchmark tests in which the Galaxy Note 8 overcomes the iPhone X in the speed of opening applications. Saying that Android phones are lagging and free are real, but a few years ago .
The iPhone is not so nice at all
By saying this sentence I am expressing only my opinion about the appearance of smartphones from Apple. I know that I do not discuss my tastes, but the fact that I do not like them does not mean that everyone shares my opinion. I still think that in the era of iPhones, such models as Samsung Galaxy S9 +, LG V30 or HTC U12 + are prettier than smartphones with a bitten apple. These models make me want to look at them. Meanwhile, the iPhone makes going past the Apple Store do not want to look at what the manufacturer offers. The devices are bland, they do not cause any emotions, they are, but if they were not, I would not cry. They do not evoke any emotions in me and do not make me want to change my smartphone, consider buying a new iPhone.
iPhone is not innovative at all
What is most important to me is the lack of any innovation. As a maniac of technological novelties, I am constantly looking for something that is unusual. Something that will make you want to have it. The iPhone has nothing but nothing that would attract me to it. I remember the times of Steve Jobs and the first iPhone, when the touch screen was introduced and the physical keyboard was removed. Yes, it was a revolution. It was a breakthrough. These were times that have passed and Apple's innovation is over . I have the impression that Apple has no plan on itself. There is no woow and amazing factor in this company . What the company does well is copying the ideas of others, fine-tuning the functions to perfection and squeezing people to this super innovation as their own. Yes, Apple is brilliant and no one will pick it up.
iOS is still limited
I am a person who can bury a bit in the system. I've often played to upload custom roms to my smartphones, but these days are behind me. Now I appreciate that after taking out of the box the smartphone could do as many things as possible without installing additional applications and without unnecessary burial in the system. The iPhone works very well out of the box, but this handset can not do a lot of things . He will not send files via bluetooth. You still need to use iTunes to rip music to your smartphone. There is still no possibility of uploading launchers and no change in the appearance of the interface. It is still not possible to open two applications side by side or open applications in pop-up windows. Android smartphones give a lot but that's a lot more possibilities. When I know that competition has these functions, and my smartphone can not do this, I feel bad about it. I would like the smartphone to replace all the devices I use on a daily basis. I would like the smartphone to replace my computer, tablet and TV. iPhone can not do this, while Android devices are getting closer to perfection . Of course, the best devices would be with full Windows, but that's probably never to be seen, and Microsoft's actions confirm this thesis.
Updates to older iPhones cause a lot of problems
On the one hand, Applowi should be applauded for updating even several years of iPhones , on the other hand, updates for older models sometimes hurt more than they bring good . Someone will say that Android phones are not updated and are partly right. iPhones should be set as a role model, but only partially. Yes, older models such as 5s will get the latest iOS 12, but this smartphone has problems with the 11 version of the system, so I'm afraid of what the new iOS will bring. Using 5s with iOS 11 reminded me of the times of LG Swift 540 , which I once owned. The phone was unbelievably choppy and had performance problems. The same happens with the iPhone 5s and even 6s. If this is the case for upgrading older hardware to a newer version of the system, I prefer to use Android . Smartphones with this system may not get as much update as headphones with the Apple logo, although new updates usually accelerate the operation of the system rather than slow down.I have a comparison between both iOS 10 models on the board and iOS 11. Both smartphones worked better on the older version of the system. It's not true that iPhones do not hang. They hang to the same extent as Android smartphones do .
The iPhone does not have the best camera at all
Many people say that Apple's headphones make the best shots. Nonsense . There are plenty of smartphones that make much better photos. The iPhone can be the most popular and most-used mobile camera, but it is not the best. Android competition has made tremendous progress in this area over the last years and Apple smartphones have to chase them. The triple lens of the Huawei P20 Pro, the variable aperture in the Galaxy S9 are just two examples of how the smartphones from other manufacturers fled to Apple's handsets.I remember how my girlfriend was fed up with photos taken by her 6s iPhone 6s . The excitement was so big that she decided to buy this model. I will not forget her face after I made her two identical photos. One made her a newly purchased iPhone 6s, and the other my worn-out Samsung Galaxy S6. Then the words "And why does your phone make such good photos and mine not? It's an iPhone! King of photography." As you can see, the king is not as king as it would seem.
The iPhone is ridiculously expensive
You need to pay astronomical amounts for smartphones with the logo of an apple being picked up. The only question arises, for which users pay almost PLN 5,000? For not the best camera? For updates that instead of speeding up the handset cause the smartphone to work worse? For a limited system that can not do many things? For me this equipment is disqualified at the start . I realize that a lot of people like iPhones and I'm not going to criticize them for it. The greater the competition, the better. However, I will never buy an iPhone because it offers much less than the competition and very often at a much higher price, which is unacceptable to me. Source: own study
