Motorola just presented a new mid-range smartphone – Moto Z3 Play, which is the immediate successor of Moto Z2 Play from last year. In terms of parameters it is quite sensible.
The right performance
Moto Z3 Play's strong side is the Qualcomm SoC system for medium-priced devices – Snapdragon 636 , which has eight Kryo 260 cores clocked up to 1.8 GHz, as well as the Adreno 509 graphics chip. This is a powerful unit that is 40% faster than the popular Snapdragon 630, and the graphics chip itself is characterized by an increase in performance by 10%, compared to Adreno 508. In addition, there is support from 4GB RAM type LPDDR4X. https://youtu.be/Zj-l6zMmyCk This set gives no reason to complain and will perform very well at all times. Moto Z3 Play in terms of speed of action without the slightest problem will be matched by competition from a similar price range. There should also be no problem with running games available on Google Play, as well as switching between open processes. Built-in memory in the most powerful configuration is 64 GB , but after deducting system files this value will probably decrease to about 52GB. The sale will also be a model with 32GB of built-in memory, although in his case will also be 4GB of RAM. In addition, in both cases it is possible to expand the memory by using a microSD reader.
The camera is not bad
Motorola in Moto Z3 Play has put on a set of two lenses – one traditional and the other for blurring the background. The main camera is equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 12MP and light F / 1.7 . The additional lens is based on a 5 MP matrix and its task is to blur the background. It is a great shame that Moto did not go with the solution known from the Moto X4, and therefore that the additional lens is wide angle. Before we go any further, let me give you some information about the technologies used. Motorola has put on the Dual Pixel Autofocus, as well as the phase detection autofocus (PDAF). There is also a set of two lighting diodes with a correlated color temperature, as well as an automatic HDR.
Large OLED display
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.01 "screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The contents are displayed in FullHD + resolution, ie 1080 x 2160 pixels, and the display itself is characterized by Super AMOLED technology and has been secured with one of the best glasses on the market ( at least in my opinion), namely Corning Gorilla of the third generation. Frames around the display are relatively narrow, and the most enjoyable is the lack of indentation on the screen, as well as the transfer of the biometric sensor to the right side, which makes the smartphone really nice. It is worth mentioning that the body was made of aluminum and the rear wall is also covered with glass. Moto Z3 Play has dimensions 156.5 x 76.5 x 6.8 mm, weight 156 grams.
The remaining specification is also at a good level
Moto Z3 Play works under the control of the Google Android system, version 8.1 Oreo , which has been enriched with several additions from the manufacturer. The battery capacity of 3000 mAh is responsible for energy efficiency with support for TurboPower fast charging technology (15W, and therefore 5V / 3A). And although the capacity of the battery is not particularly impressive, then know that the manufacturer is great at optimizing and managing. The other specification includes:
- Selfie camera 8MP (F / 2.0 light) with LED and recording in 1080p,
- the main camera records in 4K resolution,
- 4G modem with VoLTE,
- Dual SIM (optional),
- Bluetooth 5.0,
- dual band WiFi 802.11ac,
- GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS,
- USB type C port
- mini-jack 3.5 mm
Motorola has kept its word, which is why all Moto Mods modules are compatible with the latest Moto Z3 Play smartphone .
Prices and availability
Motorola today launches Moto Z3 Play sales in Brazil for the equivalent of PLN 2182 . The smartphone will also debut soon on the US market, and there it will be offered for 499 dollars. For this the manufacturer also adds an additional battery in the form of a module. Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have more information about the prices and availability of Moto Z3 Play, but the smartphone should hit the shelves around the world in the next few weeks. source: Motorola via gsmarena
