A leaked partial specification and price of Xiaomi Mi Note 5. We can suspect that the premiere will take place in a few days. Will the Mi Note series return to the flagship tracks? The answer to this question is not simple.
The Mi Note series has changed its character
At the beginning, the Xiaomi Mi Note series were flagships, but the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has changed everything. The manufacturer chose the medium-sized Snapdragon 660 processor – albeit efficient, but not top. A lot of Xiaomi fans, if not the majority, did not accept this decision very warmly. I wonder how this group will react when it meets the presumed specification of the Xiaomi Mi Note 5 , as this may be called the successor of Mi Note 3.
Partial specification of Mi Note 5
In Chinese social media there is a photo presenting a shop plate with a partial specification and the price of the mysterious Mi Note. Local sources report that it is the Xiaomi Mi Note 5. If the information provided is true, the Xiaomi Mi Note 5 will get a camera with optical image stabilization (of unknown configuration) and a 5.99 inch screen with the marketing name Full Screen 2.0. This of course means that it has to fill a large part of the front. It is not known if there is a characteristic notch at the top of the display. Now we're going to the theoretically most important part of the Xiaomi Mi Note 5 specification. The photographed piece of paper suggests that the heart of the smartphone will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 , connected to 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory (probably only one variant). How can we specify Xiaomi Mi Note 5 in this situation? Calling it medium is a misunderstanding, but with last year's processor it will not be a top device. Everything really depends on the approach of individual clients. As a smartphone user with Snapdragon 835, I know that I do not need more power for happiness. At the right price, Mi Note 5 would be an option worth considering, and that's what it's about.
What price is Mi Note 5 and when will the premiere?
Xiaomi Mi Note 5 with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of memory is to be valued at 2299 yuan , which, after a direct conversion, gives us approx. PLN 1320 net. Considering the fact that this smartphone will almost certainly not go to Poland via official channels (because for what?), I call this price quite acceptable. Xiaomi Mi Note 5 promises to be a good successor to Mi Note 3 and an interesting alternative for the similarly priced Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the more expensive Xiaomi Mi 8, whose prices are to start from 2799 yuan. When it comes to the premiere of the Xiaomi Mi Note 5, there is a chance that Xiaomi will show it on May 31, along with Xiaomi Mi 8 and MIUI 10. This day promises to be a great celebration of Xiaomi fans. Source: GizChina
