Lenovo is preparing to launch a new smartphone that will be revolutionary. It's definitely worth waiting for the upcoming Lenovo Z5.
Recently, the head of the Lenovo brand has published on one of the social networks, graphics announcing the presentation of a new smartphone. He added a few details about the specifications. Kamil Wojtczak wrote about it a few days ago. Now we have new details about this model, including the name and full look of the front panel . So let's take a look at the Lenovo Z5.
The front panel is filled to the brim with a screen
The iPhone X is the first and at the moment the only smartphone in which it was possible to offer the consumer a display surrounded by frames of the same thickness. This was of course possible thanks to the use of a flexible display and folding the fragment together with the controller underneath. Without a doubt, this is a pioneering solution from which Apple can be proud – no other manufacturer has this trick yet. Therefore, even the most designer smartphones that boast a "frameless" display, have a thick frame at the bottom. Some leave it unused, such as Sony or HTC, while others implement a biometric sensor there. The best example is the Huawei P20, which I am currently testing.Lenovo decided, however, that it was time to throw the gauntlet to the king and show what Chinese technology is capable of. As a result, the Lenovo Z5 should soon debut, which will shame everyone . This is because the display should occupy about 95% of the front panel surface. At the Apple conference, it would have been remarkable amazing . Delight, however, the most reasonable, the more that Lenovo decided not to implement the indentation in the screen, which I try to get used to – goes very stubbornly. 🙂 In terms of design, the Lenovo Z5 is ahead of the iPhone X, and also eclipses Vivo APEX , in which the frame at the bottom is 4.3 mm, and the others just 1.8 mm. After these dimensions, however, you can see that the proverbial beard occurs.
This smartphone will be completely different than all
The use of a frame-free display meant that the Chinese company had to solve several problems – the placement of sensors, the camera for Selfie, or placing the speaker for conversations. And although at the moment we do not have information on how they did it, looking at the past is not difficult to guess. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/817050/vivo-apex-oficjalnie/ It is possible that the sensors – existing and proximity lights – will most likely be stitched under the display. Vivo put this solution in the already mentioned APEX model. When it comes to the Selfie webcam, it may also be that Lenovo is inspired by Vivo, and then the camera will be pulled out from the top frame . There is another solution to this problem – a flip-up camera that is present, among others, in the Huawei ShotX. And when it comes to the speaker for talks, it will probably be placed on the top frame.
Lenovo Z5 promises to be great, but …
The upcoming Lenovo Z5 promises to be really ingenious and will be without a doubt a smartphone that stands out clearly against the competition. It is, however, highly probable that it will never officially debut on the Polish market, and thus remain only a national good.
