LG apparently decided to get rid of the processors behind the warehouses and equip the LG Q7 in … MediaTeka MT6750. You can associate this system not only with LG K10 (2017), but also its successors.
LG Q7 a good average?
The premiere of the LG Q7 is fast approaching, as it has already received several important certificates. I sincerely hoped that LG would create a really good average who is so lacking in the offer of a Korean company. Unfortunately, it does not indicate anything.
LG Q7 with the MediaTek processor
A few days ago, we learned that the LG Q7 will be equipped with the MediaTek processor. There would be nothing wrong with it if it was one of the better and newer layouts of this manufacturer. However, it will not.The above screenshot is from the GeekBench benchmark. The tested model is called code LM-Q710. This is not LG Q7, because this is identified as LM-Q610, and LG Q7 Stylus (or something like that). A similar code name for both smartphones, however, suggests that they will be very similar to each other. This means that the LG Q7 heart will be MediaTek MT6750 . You can associate this system with dozens of cheap Chinese phones or from last year's LG K10, and even its successor, which is supposed to hit us as LG K11. Already a year ago this processor did not knock down performance, and in addition … is weaker than Snapdragon 435 from LG Q6. It is comforting that the tested model got 4 GB of RAM and works under the control of Android 8.1 Oreo.
Big cleaning at LG
The LG mobile department is in trouble and the company is looking for a way to stop losing on smartphones. As you can see, the new strategy is not only showing new smartphones only when they are needed, but also getting rid of old layouts by mounting them in new phones , to make some money on them. 4 GB RAM in LG G7 ThinQ, Snapdragon 210 in LG K9, MediaTek MT6750 in LG Q7 – it speaks for itself. Is it possible to get out straight in this way? Time will tell. Source: GeekBench
