Today the premiere of smartphones from the Moto G6 family took place. All represent the average price range, have good components and reasonable prices. Meet Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus. When will smartphones go to Poland and will it be worth buying them?
We already knew everything about the new midgets from Motorola for a long time before the official premiere. The debut only confirmed all previous information. It is time to consider whether they are competitive in relation to similarly priced rivals and whether it is worth spending their money on them. WE RECOMMEND: Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus officially!

Motorola Moto G6 – medium for everyone
Let's start with the most "basic" model. Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. It's big, because the diagonal is 5.7-inches. The producer set here the FullHD + resolution, so nobody should complain about the sharpness of the displayed image . The smartphone is quite large, which results directly from the way of design – we will not find notch here, but only two beams at the bottom and top. As for the specification, it falls out the way we would expect from a middleweight in 2018. The heart of the device is the Snapdragon 450 , or octa-core clocked at 1.8 GHz. Efficiency in everyday work certainly will not be lacking, because in the end Motorola has been betting on almost pure Android for several years, adding only a few useful solutions. Multitasking support will provide up to 4 GB of RAM, depending on the capacitive variant we will also get 32 or 64 GB. It is a pity that the manufacturer has not decided to bet on a larger battery . The Moto G6 has 3000 mAh, which in the case of such a diagonal screen is not likely to translate into a very long working time away from the socket. On the other hand, the photographic base falls out positively – on the back you will find a 12 and 5 megapixel double camera. Happy selfie fans should be satisfied – 8 megapixels is a down payment for good selfies.
Motorola Moto G6 Plus – medium shelf with aspirations
The Motorola Moto G6 Plus is different from the usual variant with several specification details. Exactly the same is the screen – 5.99-inch matrix with FullHD + resolution. We have been able to change in the middle, although there is no crazy. The smartphone works on the Snapdragon 630, so it will not be able to compete with the Nokia 7 Plus – on the other hand, it is much cheaper than it. There is also more RAM memory – up to 6 GB. The camera specifications also look similar. It's a 12 and 5 megapixel back and 8 megapixels for selfie, except that the main eye has a brighter lens (f / 1.7 instead of f / 1.8) This model should work longer on the battery – the processor manages the energy well, and the cell itself is slightly larger – 3200 mAh. It promises to be a good one, although its success will probably be determined by the quality of the pictures taken.
Motorola Moto G6 Play – cheap smartphone with a large battery
At the end I left the cheapest smartphone – Moto G6 Play has a lot of advantages at its price. The biggest one is the 4000 mAh battery, which in combination with the FullHD + screen should provide two days of work away from the socket . The display has exactly the same diagonal as in the more expensive Brother Moto G ^, or 5.7 inches. The heart of the Moto G6 Play is the Snapdragon 430, a system that we have seen many times in the yearbooks from last year. The low price of the device also dictated a smaller amount of RAM – up to 3 GB. In my opinion, it is better to let go of the 2 GB variant , at least if you think about several years of use. Savings can also be seen in the camera – the main one is single and 13-megapixel, and on the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie matrix.
Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play – prices in Poland
I have already referred to the price of new Motorola smartphones several times, so it's time to reveal them. They rely on our proven informer, although they are not official yet. Moto G6 Play with 3 GB of RAM will be offered for 799 PLN – in this amount it will fight for customers mainly with a battery. Moto G6 (3 GB RAM) is an expenditure of 999 PLN , which seems a reasonable price – especially if the camera turns out to be really good. Motorola Moto G6 Plus with 4 GB RAM is a smartphone for PLN 1299 . In this amount, it falls quite well against the competition and I think that it will find many buyers. Is it worth buying new medium from Motorola's stable? In my opinion, the Plus model is the most defensive . For 1,300 zlotys it offers a really nice set of parameters – although if it had a much larger battery, it could be a good successor for Lenovo P2. At this point, I would like to pause with the purchase – Motorola's relatively cheap and in a few months they will become much more competitive. Sales in Poland should start in the next few weeks, probably next month.
