Huawei does not cease to surprise. Already in the second half of 2019, we are to see a new smartphone from the Chinese, serving the 5G network. Is it Mate 30?

The 5G network is getting closer

Until recently it seemed that the slogan "5G" is just a marketing gimmick for the telecommunications industry. At this point, we already have the specification, and the first manufacturers began to prepare to implement support for this solution in their devices.

Huawei Mate 30 with 5G network support?

Huawei plans to be one of the first producers to take advantage of 5G capabilities. The Chinese want the first smartphone that supports this solution to be sold in the second half of 2019 . This is at least the result of the slide that was presented by this company during the annual presentation, which will take place in Shenzhen. It also looks like the end product itself will contain systems created by the Chinese. Perhaps we are talking about a modified version of the Huawei Balong 5G01 system, which debuted at this year's MWC 2018 trade fair. Taking into account the tight schedule, this solution may appear on the Huawei Mate 30 smartphone. Why "30"? The P series has jumped from 10 to 20, so Mate is probably also waiting this year. In 2019 will be "30".

Huawei Balong 5G01 – too big, but …

The above layout supports the 3GPP standard for future 5G networks. It will allow you to download data from the network, up to 2.3 Gbps. For now, this chip is not small, so it was initially stated that it should not appear on smartphones. He was seen more in portable routers or mobile hotspots. Perhaps by the end of the first half of 2019, the Chinese will manage to create its improved version. So far, they have invested $ 600 million in developing technology for cellular networks. Let's hope that the whole process of miniaturization will be successful for the Chinese people and will be among the first in the world who will implement and receive a fast 5G network in new smartphones.
