We know the release date of Motorola Moto G6, G6 Play, G6 Plus and Moto E5 series models. Large screens, capacious batteries and photographic jam are their hallmarks.
Motorola's smartphones from the average and budget shelves have not been so promising for a long time. It's time to sum up all the information and get to know the release date of the Moto G6 family and slightly cheaper – E5. Will it be worth buying them?
Premiere and price Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus
The debut of new Motorola smartphones has been evenly two weeks – April 19 . This means that new products will definitely go to stores (including Polish ones) before the holiday season. Prices start from PLN 599 for the cheapest E5 model up to PLN 1299 for the strongest version of medium. You will learn more about this from Damian's entry. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/824850/motorola-moto-g6-e5-cena-premiera/
Specification Moto G6 and E5
With the reading of the previous entry you already know what to expect at the prices of the devices. Motorola is preparing a strong spring strike in the middle shelf and in operator offers . What are your chances with cheap smartphones from China at this rate? The manufacturer has adopted a similar, proven strategy. The cheapest model, the Motorola Moto E5 is to attract users with a low price and a large battery. For 599 PLN, the capacity of the 4000 mAh battery is very positive. Even among Xiaomi smartphones, it's hard to find similar values. A direct competitor for her will be the Xiaomi Redmi 4X, but Moto towers over it with the current version of Android. Moto E5 Plus is a cosmetic change from the usual model. More RAM (3 GB) and double the space for data are features for which additional 200 zlotys will be paid. Perhaps the screen will also grow – up to 5.5 inches. In my opinion, it will not be worth deciding. Time for something for slightly more demanding users. Moto G6 Play also costs 799 PLN , but at this price it will offer much more. Here, too, there was room for a large cell with a capacity of 4000 mAh. The processor will be better – Snapdragon 430 (although some sources say weaker 427), 3 GB of RAM and thinner frames around the 5.7-inch screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio. The Moto G6 is higher positioned and priced at PLN 999 . In my opinion, this is a paradoxically worse choice than the Play version, due to the smaller battery and higher display resolution (the resolution itself is not a defect, but it will shorten the time of working away from the socket). Its advantage at this price are to be photographic possibilities – a dual camera at the back and a 16-megapixel selfie matrix. The Moto G6 Plus is the strongest model in the Motorola's average for 2018. This smartphone with performance and photographic possibilities is supposed to be equal to Moto X4, which we have already tested on gsmManiaKu. A large 5.7-inch screen with Full HD resolution is an advantage, but the 3200 mAh battery can be a bottleneck again. I'm not sure if for 1299 zlotys it will be a good choice.
Is it worth buying a Moto G6?
In my opinion the most interesting smartphone in Motorola's offer is Moto G6 Play. It's a good smartphone for fans of large screens and use them for multimedia consumption. Its biggest drawback may be the screen – HD + at this price clearly stands out from the market standards. Paradoxically, its biggest rival may be Lenovo K6 Note. This is a very popular model that you can now buy for 599 PLN . Both smartphones have very similar specifications and large batteries. Why is it better to choose Motorola? Due to the newer version of Android (K6 Note will not receive an update to Oreo), more RAM and a larger screen (though with lower resolution). Moto G6 Play is likely to lose in the field of photo quality. Which Motorola smartphone seems the most interesting to you? Source: gizmochin
