Huawei P20 lite is the latest mid-range smartphone in the manufacturer's offer, and also the first, in which Huawei decided to use indentation in the screen. The new design has caused many people to go crazy about it, so it is worth looking at the operator offers in which you can buy it.
Rather, no one expected that the Huawei P20 Lite will debut on the Polish market so fast, ie a mid-range smartphone with a notch in the screen. Everyone assumed that the presentation will take place on March 27 this year. Nevertheless, Huawei decided otherwise, thanks to which we are already testing the P20 Lite, and in operator offers is also available now. It is therefore an ideal opportunity to do a quick research and see where it is worth to buy the Huawei P20 Lite .
At the moment, the Huawei P20 Lite is available in Orange, T-Mobile as well as Plus
Play is the only largest operator on the Polish market that delays the introduction of the Huawei P20 Lite subscription offer. On the other hand, Orange, T-Mobile and Plus are tempting their clients with a modern design and a decent technical specification. Therefore, I decided to check which operator is the most advantageous offer. And before I go to the merits, for clarification . I know that buying a device for cash or installments in the store is usually the cheapest, and some nice prepaid offer, but believe me, there are a lot of people in Poland who choose to be connected to the operator for various reasons. That is why I am asking you not to mention in the comments that they are thieving offers, or absolutely unprofitable. For some, it is the only opportunity to purchase new equipment.
Orange's odd offer, which is worth avoiding!
Orange Polska has one subscription offer, which is not worth taking into account . I am referring to the Basic Plan, under which a one-off initial charge for the Huawei P20 lite was set at PLN 1,599. Added to this is a monthly commitment of PLN 29.99 for two years. This is total nonsense, because only a fool will sign a circus with an operator under this plan. After all, PLN 1,599 costs Huawei P20 lite in free sale.
Other offers seem to make more sense, though it is not worth paying more than PLN 100 a month for two years
Of the other subscription offers available in Orange, T-Mobile as well as Plus, interested parties should choose something. I especially recommend T-Mobile as well as Plus, but of course the final decision will belong to you. It would be good for you to choose offers containing all services without limits , even if after exhausting the data package, the operator will activate the funnel and thus significantly reduce the data transmission speed. This will prevent additional costs that you should avoid. Of course, this is not always possible, as described below. T-Mobile offer is the most interesting – the operator provides one monthly fee, and the installments for the equipment are, although they were hidden in the subscription price . It is a very old school, which was abandoned by other players on the market. As part of a monthly commitment of PLN 90 (an offer for a number transferring party) you will receive an unlimited package of services, and a one-time fee for the Huawei P20 lite will amount to PLN 199. After making quick calculations, it appears that the subscription will amount to just PLN 31 per month, and the remaining amount is the installment for the smartphone. And how, did I count? As follows:
- 24 (duration of the contract) x 90 PLN (monthly fee) + 199 PLN (for smartphone) = 2359 PLN
- From the amount received we subtract the price for a smartphone in the store, and therefore PLN 2359 – PLN 1599 = PLN 760
- The difference is the total cost of the subscription, which we now divide into 24 months and we get the cost of a one-month subscription, therefore 760 PLN ÷ 24 months = ~ 31.7 PLN
I think that the monthly subscription (without the device) in the amount of ~ 31.7 PLN, containing no limit on everything, is a good offer. But let's check what the others offer. Orange, up to PLN 100, has an offer for PLN 97.98 for 24 months (subscription for PLN 39.99 + installment PLN 57.99). Added to this is PLN 199 for the start. Internet in the phone as part of a 5 GB subscription (including 2.58 GB in the EU), the rest is nolimit. Converting by analogy goes out that subscription, it cost ~ 39.65. It is therefore clearly more expensive, and at the same time less attractive than in the case of T-Mobile. Plus promotes a subscription fee of PLN 94 per month, but this is a commitment with 36 installments and we are only interested in 24, therefore I analyze the offer in which the sum of installment and subscription is PLN 74 (PLN 30 + subscription PLN 44). Unfortunately, we only get 2 GB of internet here, and the initial payment is 549 PLN, which is the highest. What is the most interesting is the total price of the Huawei P20 lite, which, after adding installments and starting fees, is PLN 1269! However, if we make analogous calculations, which in the case of Orange and T-Mobile, we will see that the actual cost of the subscription is PLN 30.25.
I've already chosen the offer, and you?
If I decided to purchase the Huawei P20 lite, and for this in the subscription offer, I would choose T-Mobile . Why? The answer is very simple – as the only operator (in this comparison) offers unlimited data transfer, which is very important nowadays. In addition, the one-time payment is acceptable. What do you choose? Let me know in the comment. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/821976/huawei-p20-lite-pierwsze-wrazenia/
