The new Lenovo smartphone – Lenovo S5 debuted, which unfortunately does not resemble the successor of Lenovo P2. However, it is interesting and therefore worth being interested in it.
Until recently, we thought that the Lenovo S5 presented today will become the successor of the very popular and well-equipped Lenovo P2, which is characterized by great energy management. According to previous reports, the Lenovo S5 was supposed to have a 6000 mAh battery , while its capacity is twice lower, and the performance is at the level of the already mentioned Lenovo P2.
Lenovo S5 specification
Lenovo equipped the Lenovo S5 with the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (composed of an 8M ARM Cortex A53 processor clocked at 2 GHz). Added to this is the Adreno 506 graphics layout and support from up to 4 gigabyte RAM. This is a set that is present in Lenovo P2 and translates into the appropriate work culture, as well as enable free use of all applications and games available in the Google store. Three variants will be available for sale:
- Lenovo S5 equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32-gigabyte internal memory
- Lenovo S5 equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 64-gigabyte internal memory
- Lenovo S5 equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128-gigabyte internal memory
At Lenovo S5, a 5.7-inch matrix with Full HD + resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) is waiting for the interested, so the pixel density per inch is 424 ppi. Thus, you can comfortably browse all kinds of content on your smartphone, watch video content as well as play. It is worth knowing that this is a matrix with promotions 18: 9.
Two camera on the back wall and unblocking with a face scan
Lenovo S5, as a smartphone debuting in 2018, was equipped with two lenses on the back wall. The main camera has a resolution of 13 million pixels and registers a color picture (RGB). The additional camera is, however, monochromatic and also has a resolution of 13MP. This solution has been used by Huawei for a long time. This is to improve the quality of photographs and enrich them with more details. The camera is supported by two two-tone LEDs. On the front there is a 16MP camera, which allows not only to take a Selfie, but also to unlock the phone with a face scan .
Competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus
As you can see, Lenovo S5 was made not to the delight of the people, and more as a competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, or smartphone, which debuted in December last year.

Prices Lenovo S5
Regular sales of the Lenovo S5 will take place on March 23 this year. The basic model of Lenovo S5 (3GB + 32GB) will pay 999 yuan to those interested , which, after conversion and addition of VAT, gives us the amount of almost PLN 670. Model with 3-gigabyte RAM and 64 GB of memory is the cost of 1199 yuan (~ 803 PLN). The sale will also be Lenovo S5 with 128GB of built-in memory and 4GB RAM, and its cost is 1499 yuan (~ 1005 PLN).
