Meet the most efficient smartphones on the market in February 2018. Our TOP10 phones are based on data provided by AnTuTu – one of the popular benchmarking applications. Huawei shares and rules in the ranking.
The new AnTuTu 7 ranking
The rankings published by AnTuTu have always aroused a lot of controversy, because in reality they do not reflect the actual state of affairs. However, as soon as the newest TOP 10 appears, everyone wants to see which model came first, which fell, which flew out, and which did not even come close to the top. Therefore, we could not not publish TOP-10 of the most efficient smartphones by AnTuTu . Data for the latest ranking were collected from February 1, 2018 to February 28 of this year, and each device was tested about a thousand times. Of course, everything using the latest application, and therefore in the seventh version. The results are averaged, not the highest that a given model has obtained. This is very important information that you need to take to heart, that none of the owners of an efficient device, stated that "my smartphone, it made a better result".
TOP10 are Chinese smartphones
The latest ranking has been dominated in 90% by smartphones originating from the Middle Kingdom , and the only raisin is … "Koreańczyk", which incidentally took the last place. What's even more interesting, in the list you will find only five producers – the elite of the mobile market, more precisely the last months. And although I ran out of HTC here, it can not be hidden that it is Huawei, OnePlus, Nubia, Xiaomi, and Samsung are designating routes to other smartphone manufacturers with Android.
Huawei showed the class
Unexpectedly, the first place went to Huawei Mate 10 , and thus a model that bypassed the Polish shop shelves with a wide arc. However, I would not care too much, especially that the Pro model in the name is right behind it, and therefore Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which I had the pleasure to test for you. However, the difference in scoring is minimal, although I can not quite agree with this verdict. The reason is very simple – the display resolution in the case of Mate 10 is higher than in the Mate 10 Pro and yet the graphic performance is also taken into account in the AnTuTu test. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/810638/test-huawei-mate-10-pro/ Last place on the podium was also occupied by the Huawei smartphone, or more precisely by the model sold under the Honor sub-brand. Speech in this case about Honor V10, which ended the test with a score of 213758 points. Huawei secured the highest places on the podium with the original HiSilicon Kirin 970 , and thus SoC produced in the 10 nm lithographic process, the same as Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895. The Kirin 970 consists of eight (64-bit) cores – 4x ARM Cortex- A73@2.36GHz + 4x ARM Cortex-A53@1.8GHz, i7 co-processor and ARI Mali-G72MP12 graphics chip. This is a very powerful computing unit that will also be used in upcoming smartphones – the Huawei P20 and the Huawei P20 Pro, which you have often been able to read on the pages of gsmManiaK.pl.
As many as 7 smartphones in the AnTuTu ranking have SoC Snapdragon 835
The list is as follows: from the fourth to the tenth place: OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, Nubia Z17, Nubia Z17S, Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 , as well as the already mentioned Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It is interesting that the models the improved ones are slightly worse than the original ones. This is the case with both the OnePlus and ZTE proposals. Such a large number of devices in the ranking with Snapdragon 835 only shows that customers very eagerly reach for the most powerful smartphones on the market. It is also worth paying attention to one fact – even Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in this combination derives its computing power. And in total, there is no wonder, because although the powerful Snapdragon 845 has already been presented, the computational power offered by SD835 is exaggerated. And the best example of this is the production of computers with ARM systems and Windows 10 on board. https://www.gsmmaniak.pl/796470/antutu-2017-najpopular-procesory-chiny/ You must know that the fight was very balanced, and the competition was strong, and that's because the top ten included such models as : Samsung Galaxy S8 +, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Samsung Galaxy S8 . They took turns eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth. I regret the fact that the HTC U11 + did not appear in the statement, which does the results similar to the Huawei Mate 10. However, this is due to the strategy of a Taiwanese manufacturer who lost a lot in the eyes, even the fans of the brand. This makes the model less popular than those mentioned above.
The next ranking will be different
Coming back to our leader, and thus Huawei, this situation will change in the early days, because the devices equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Samsung Exynos 9810 systems have not yet participated in the ranking. However, the fact that Huawei has recently shown what he can do. Remember that the rankings prepared by AnTuTu are not an oracle . They show only how technology goes forward, and with it improves the performance of mobile devices, which is presented by means of numbers. Even middle-class and low-budget models are good at everyday tasks, as can be seen by reading our smartphone tests.
