Specialists from DxOMark say that Nokia 8 has a very weak camera. In comparison with other manufacturers it is far behind. Why and what do we think about it?
DxOMark tested the camera in Nokia 8. The result may shock because the smartphone only received a score of 68 points. The top score still is Google Pixel 2 (98 points), followed by Huawei Mate 10 Pro and iPhone X (97 points). It should be remembered that there is no final number of points in the ranking. In the future, smartphones will surely exceed the magical "hundred". Nokia 8 scored 72 points for photo creation and 62 points for video recording. As befits a flagship … Excuse me, this is the problem – after the "eight" we would expect something much better . DxOMark had reservations mainly about color saturation, large amount of noise, lack of visible details or inaccurate textures. Autofocus is also problematic, which does not always work as it should. Nokia 8 has better cope with good lighting (nothing surprising) and with the Auto HDR mode enabled. The exposure and white balance will also be good. In contrast, zoom or bokeh mode are other issues that fall out pale in comparison with the capabilities of cameras in other flagships.Check what we think about the Nokia 8 camera and capabilities.
