Alcatel, or rather the TCL company behind this brand, plans to completely refresh its portfolio with smartphones. A new direction of change was shown at CES 2018.
The TCL company behind the well-known brand Alcatel decided to present a modernized portfolio of its products for 2018. At the CES 2018, there were three series of devices that would reflect the new philosophy of the producer and his approach to the mobile segment. Thus, "Idol" goes into oblivion. Alcatel 5, 3, 1 is a new series that will combine having a screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, created by TCL. We will still be able to count on fingerprint readers on the back of the smartphones from each series. You will also unlock the device face. The series will, however, differ in design, price and offered functionality. As you can guess – the 5 series will be the better one compared to the 1st series. Let's also pay attention to the fact that, for example, the series 3 will be distinguished by a double camera . This is just a teaser of the new portfolio from the Alcatel website. A full disclosure of the news is to take place during MWC 2018. It is probably a very good step on the part of TCL. Alcatel wants to accelerate its expansion in the US and other markets this year. With new smartphones that you have to admit – they look interesting – the company will finally have a chance to play for good. Source: Alcatel
