Interestingly, as much as 48.3 billion dollars in the last year were spent on games. That's over 80% of the total amount I mentioned at the beginning. High results were generated mainly by the App Store. Over $ 38 billion has been released by owners of iOS devices. Here, the increase is also 35% higher than in 2016. Of this number, 30 billion dollars were spent on games. Users of Android devices on board spent just over 20 billion dollars. This is less, but the increase compared to 2016 also amounts to almost 35%. 18 billion dollars were allocated to games. Google Store wins in this ranking for sure in terms of the number of applications downloaded. This year it amounted to 64 billion (+ 17% compared to 2016). In this number, the games were just over 27 billion. In comparison, 28 billion applications (including 8.3 billion games) were downloaded from the App Store. Looking at such results, it is not difficult to conclude that in 2018 the sale of applications and games will certainly continue to grow. Source: SensorTower
