Searching for applications in the Play Store will soon be easier. Thanks to the introduction of filters, we will search for free games and applications faster. Check when the new feature will come to your phone.

Until now, searching for free applications in the Play Store has been somewhat difficult because none of the rankings allowed such searches. Although the tab best applications mostly consists of free programs, Google decided to solve the problem and introduce filters. From now on we will be able to search only for applications that are, for example, free and top rated. Or paid and in English. It will also be possible to sort them according to their purpose, such as music players.

This approach is the most positive for users, but less for application developers. New programs will have a problem with breaking through, unless a separate category is created for them in the Play Store. On my smartphone, I have not noticed the changes visible on the screenshot, but on the net I found some examples that Google is working on such a solution. In my opinion, this is definitely a better way than the current form of search. Now we can only suggest whether the application is free or paid. The filters will significantly simplify the search , especially since during my almost 8-year-old adventure with Android I have never had a free version of any application enough for me to use my smartphone everyday. With advertisements you can finally live somehow. Has any of you noticed this possibility on your Play Store account? Source: theandroidsoul
