iOS 11 has changed the way we use the network buttons in the Control Center. Unfortunately, Apple does not intend to withdraw from its approach, but at least it will announce changes.
The third beta of iOS 11.2, which is a test version of the next iOS release, which should soon hit the iPhone and iPad users introduces a noticeable change in the Control Center. As we all know, the final version of the "eleven" introduced swirling in the action of switches for WiFi or Bluetooth from the slider panel. It turned out that unchecking the icons only leads to a break in the connection between devices for some time, and not to completely disable the operation of the modules . For many users this solution is completely unintuitive and introduces unnecessary confusion. Obviously, Apple has interpreted the situation "in its own way", but what about when not everyone is aware of the new change. It seems that the company does not intend to abandon its approach and restore the old but much simpler solution. Fortunately, the third beta of iOS 11.2 brings at least a notice of these changes . When you use the icons in the Control Center for the first time, the relevant information will appear. Each subsequent use will display a notification of the disconnection of the selected network until the next day.If we wanted to turn off Bluetooth or WiFi, we would still have to go to Settings. These are not satisfactory changes. Nevertheless, it is better late than never, as such information should appear from the beginning. Source: MacRumors
