Samsung has launched a new update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +, also in Poland. This is an important update that patches a very serious security vulnerability, so it's worth installing it.
November security updates for Android are extremely important as they bring a patch for KRACK WPA2 Wi-Fi , which is a vulnerability that can be exploited when connecting to a wireless network. In this situation, manufacturers of smartphones with green robots on board should therefore provide new patches for their devices. The work took place, among others. Samsung, which yesterday began updating smartphones Galaxy A5 of the last two generations. Now the updated update gets flagged. I got information from our reader Bartlaomieja (thanks!) that his Samsung Galaxy S8 + received a new update, signed with the G955FXXU1AQJ5 , weighing 536.48 MB and sharing the OTA channel. In addition to the latest security fixes, the update brings improved application stability, DeX Mode, and Launcher. The smartphone comes with a store offer, so I do not know if the package also gets copies from operators. I know, however, that a similar update from Samsung will be posted in parallel with the Galaxy S8. Please let me know if you've already received this update.
