BlackBerry Motion officially. High capacity battery, IP67 and high price

He made his BlackBerry debut. It has good components, a big screen and a powerful battery with fast charging technology. Dream of a smartphone for a businessman? See what BlackBerry Motion is.

I recently wrote about BlackBerry Motion , but then I did not expect that I would be able to let you know so soon. It's official – BlackBerry Motion hits the market. Is it a smartphone good enough for BlackBerry to make it? At the previous entry your opinions on it were divided – some agreed with me that it was interesting equipment, some on the contrary. I support my opinion – for me it is one of the most interesting smartphones with Snapdragon 625 on the market. Perhaps you associate that I'm not a particular fan of the numbers – Snapdragon mentioned this to be the pinnacle of my smartphone performance. Pairing it up with 4 GB of RAM will make the phone handle every task we throw at it during the day.

Large screen and large battery

BlackBerry Motion has a 5.5-inch screen and, at the same time, a fairly angular casing, which will unfortunately translate to a poorly grasped grip , especially with one-handed use. The frame around is metal. The image is presented in FullHD resolution. There is no shortage of waterproofing on board – full immersion is not recommended, as is usually the case with the IP67 standard.

The whole works under the control of Android Nougat, and the update to the Oreo version is expected to take place in early 2018. A great advantage of this model will certainly be its battery, which has a capacity of 4000 mAh – in addition it can be charged in half in just 40 minutes. All this should translate into truly satisfactory working times on a single charge.

In the second photo, you can see the home button with the "blackberry" logo. I admit that from this perspective it looks like the Samsung Home button – I hope the live looks better. Smartphone was introduced in Dubai – perhaps to emphasize its premium character, but in part because it will be available first, and only in the coming months will go to other selected markets. Will Poland be among them? Earlier models came to us, so I do not see why BlackBerry Motion should be different. And what about the price? You can say that it is not bad. The device costs about $ 460. BlackBerry KEYONE Black Edition in Poland you will find for 3200 gold , and it was priced at ~ 630 dollars. With a simple conversion it gives us about 2,400 zlotys. Well, for that money you will buy OnePlus 5 and even Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge . Although I like the new Motion, the choice would not be difficult. I'm counting on a better price, for example at 1999 gold – then I can say that it is a decent amount. Of course, for the money you can buy two Xiaomi with the same specifications, but BlackBerry is not going to fight for the customer's price-to-quality ratio. I keep my fingers crossed for success and I look forward to the first reviews. How do you like BlackBerry recipe for a smartphone without a physical keyboard?
