It's time for statistics on the share of Android versions in the smartphone market in the previous month. Android Nougat is growing, and Android's Oreo share is marginal.
After the recent launch of Android Oreo it is time to summarize the results of each version of the system. Here, unfortunately, there is no surprise – the leader remains Android Marshmallow with a 32.2% share . This is a minimal decrease compared to August. The second place has Lolipop – 28.8%, which is also a drop. What is more positive, in third place is now Android Nougat, which with a score of 15.8% finally overtook KitKata. This change compared to last month. Very good change. Android 8.0 Oreo's share is of course marginal – so much so that it's not up to par. The fact is that the launch took place only recently and this version is rather within the announced devices and promises to update. If you want to see if your smartphone gets a new version of your system, check out the list of smartphones that will get the Android Oreo. It is constantly updated. There have been a lot of issues with updates in the Google ecosystem, and I'm just going to add a few words to it. If the new version of software is an important factor for you when choosing new hardware, you should rather decide on the smartphones of larger manufacturers. As an example of the exception I will use here from the grave of Nokia – it happens that security patches hit her phones faster than Pixele. And that means something. Source: Google
