Construction and workmanship
The Panasonic RP-NJ300B is a classic in-ear design, although for the wireless module we find here some changes to the classic design. We still have small speakers mounted on a thin wire. You have to admit that they make a really good impression . Firstly, the casing of both speakers is very light, and they suitably fit the shape of the ear canal thanks to their good shape. Secondly – the material they have been trimmed does not make us sweat ears – although it is plastic, it does not wear tires for a long time. You have to appreciate it. Unlike Apple's AirPods, headphones are embedded on a cable that also contains all the components needed for their operation. At the center of the cord that connects the two earphones, we find a weight that is fortunately not noticeably heavier than the rest of the structure. We can go back to the neck and, importantly, do not fly in the air while walking or running, which would be very unpleasant to use. Also noticeably stabilizes the earphones when using them. Near the right forearm, we find a control panel – thanks to it we can either increase or decrease the volume of the music being played, as well as toggle between individual songs. Of course, there is no central button to turn the headphones on or off. An integral part of this control panel is also the microphone – the quality of the sound it has to boast: it is clean and loud, although much depends on the source material or the noise in the area when recording voice. Nevertheless, this add-on is definitely worth a plus. Of course, in the box we also find basic accessories – for wireless headphones is a USB cable to charge the headphones. It is short, which excludes any possibility of listening to music while charging. There was also the possibility of replacing the removable rubber bands on the loudspeakers, which makes it convenient to fit the earphones in their ears, regardless of their size.
Connectivity and sound quality
The battery used in this model – due to its small size – does not offer great capacity. According to assurances, Panasonica should be enough for about 4 hours and 20 minutes of music player and our tests overlap with this data. It was a shame that we were forced to charge the headphones every 2 days , using them on the road to work and back. This is not a result that could make an impression and can be dulled by regular, everyday use. In this case, it is definitely worth appreciating the fast charging technology used in this model – already 20 minutes of charging allows you to listen to music for about an hour and 10 minutes – this time I was able to get through the test, which allows you to quickly load them in work to return to home. Loading full is about an hour and fifteen minutes. What's definitely worth appreciating with this model is the fact that the Panasonic RP-NJ300B seamlessly connects to smartphones or other electronic devices using older and newer Bluetooth interfaces . It is also very good – we can safely leave the source of the music in another room and enjoy uninterrupted sound through the wall. For the type of music enthusiasts are dedicated to the Panasonica headphones? What's throwing in the ears at the first replay is the noticeably subdued bass – therefore we are dealing with a great proposition for all music lovers, especially drum'n'bass or hip-hop. What is worth noting, the headphones perform very well in hard metal music, and personally I am a little surprised. Unfortunately, it is worse to listen to ballads or songs in which vocalists can boast of high voice – here the bass boost is already too audible.
Summary and evaluation
Is it worth spending on Panasonic RP-NJ300B less than 200 gold? In terms of performance, it is impossible to attach anything – the cable connecting the loudspeaker is strong and solid, and the speaker housing and the net through which the sound goes. The Panasonic RP-NJ300B is not a headset for anyone – we are dealing with a model that works mainly in popular music, so audiofiles will not find anything interesting here. It is also a pity that the headphones offer a relatively short operating time on a single charge – it partially compensates for fast loading. If battery life is not a major drawback for you, the ease of use of the headphones, excellent connectivity, proper design and proper ear adjustment make it a good choice for those who are actively spending their time.
