Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has only been released for a few days. There is information about the new feature of the S Pen stylus, but for 2018. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will debut its new feature. How will the sensor work for breath analysis?
The information relates to the patent that Samsung recently submitted. According to them, next year's Korean flag of the Note series offers technology unprecedented in smartphones. That said, it's about the S Pen, which is a feature of the Galaxy Note. There is a new sensor in the stylus that will be able to … analyze your breath. What is the use of this feature? Thanks to this we will be able to measure, for example, the amount of alcohol in the exhaled air.In the patent picture we also see that the stylus will have a movable element . There will be a microphone for conversations. The solution looks interesting, but it probably will not have much practical use. Otherwise, it may look like a breathalyser . It may be useful when, after a raked evening in the morning, you want to see if there is no alcohol in the exhaled air. I think that this could be a solution of a similar class as a flashlight – we do not use it on a daily basis, but sometimes it is useful. According to the leak, the stylus will be modular – the bent part will be interchangeable and can perform various functions. Another gossip given is, for example, a thermometer. In my opinion, this is a step in the right direction to make the smartphone even more multifunctional than before. Weather station on the phone? Why not. Of course, this is just a patent, which means that the solution may never hit any of Samsung's future devices. What do you think of this approach to modules? Have a chance to join the market?
