HTC officially released its latest financial report for July this year. It turns out that almost 4 months after the launch of the U-11 flagship, the Taiwanese are beginning to recapture … revenue drops.
I wonder if the saga of writing about HTC's problems will ever be over – and not only when the manufacturer gives up the smartphone. The latest report for July has appeared on the net and the Taiwanese are again losing money. I am surprised, especially looking at our HTC U11 test, which is really a great smartphone and was supposed to be a kind of rescue for this manufacturer. It turns out that in July HTC lost about 10 percent more money than in June 2017 – during the year they were down at 2 percent. Not much, but nevertheless. And now most importantly: unfortunately, after a short period of time, the HTC U11 can not cope with its predecessor – the HTC model we tested. It's hard to tell why exactly this is happening – the U11 may not be as interesting as the design itself, But in terms of specifications and camera does not leave behind the competition . HTC is constantly trying to market to fight for better smartphone sales and I think they will eventually succeed. So I'm afraid to wait for another, full financial report for the third quarter of this year. It may turn out that at first the fantastic HTC U11 turned out to be just like the LG G6 … the sales flap.
