There is another image that allegedly represents the module responsible for wireless charging on the iPhone 8. Can we really say that?
The iPhone 8 specification has long since indicated that the next flagship will receive wireless uploads. What's more, the identical solution will hit all editions that will debut this fall. All of this we know leaks, which are very reliable. On the other hand, so far this year there have been very few photos of subassemblies and enclosures for the upcoming Apple flagship. It looks like the new company policy on securing secrets is working. However, this does not change the fact that some employees do their own – information and photos are desirable and willingly commented. This time there were photos showing the module responsible for wireless charging on the iPhone 8. Unfortunately, we will not find much detail in the photos. The subassembly looks similar to the one that is mounted on Android-powered smartphones with probably ending in the Lightning entrance. It is therefore possible that wireless charging will not be exactly like that – in the full sense of the word. Early rumors suggested that the smartphone would be charged even a few yards away. Apparently, such technology is still not ready and on board the iPhone 8 will be the solution from Qi. Some of the information is blurry, so it is difficult to clearly determine whether it is a subset that will eventually be onboard the flag, but may come from an external device from a third party. At the moment, each of these possibilities is equally likely. For more information about the iPhone 8 itself, see our cumulative list:
