The Nubia Z17 family will join the new device. The Geekbench saw the ZTE Nubia phone – probably the Z17 lite model. Its equipment is at least weird – the Chinese have combined a huge amount of RAM with a weak processor.
Geekbench benchmarked with a new device from ZTE. It looks like it will be the Z17 Lite. It will join the Z17 family, with the ZTE Nubia Z17 and ZTE Nubia Z17 mini models available.Based on benchmark data, the phone will come with a pretty old, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, which will be available in late 2015. This is an eight-core unit, built from Cortex A53 cores. The graphics are Adreno 405. The processor was made in 28 nm process technology, so for great power management we would rather not count. Operating memory is impressive with such a 6 GB processor. The whole will work on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. As for the rest of the specs, it will of course be weaker than the ZTE Nubia Z17. There will be a dual camera lens, but the headphone jack will probably not be available in the flagship. The smartphone will come with an NFC module . The processor supports Full HD screen resolution, so the Nubia Z17 Lite will probably come with it. In my opinion, the strongest version of the Nubia Z17 Lite appeared in the benchmark. The manufacturer will probably go the same way as Koreans in the LG Q6 model, presenting several models differing in RAM and built-in. For the premiere we probably will not wait too long. Do you think this model is likely to be in the lower middle of the shelf, or is it just a curiosity because of the large amount of RAM? Source: Geekbench
