Samsung has started distributing a new update for its Galaxy S flagship smartphones. What's in the middle of this update?
The Koreans have officially launched a new update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. The update introduces July security patches from Google, but also several patches and patches from Samsung. The new upgrade has been marked as G955FXXU1AQG5 / G955FOXM1AQG5 and it takes up around 750 megabytes – quite a lot for a new compilation. In the middle you will find security patches from Google that patch 65 different vulnerabilities in Android itself – some of them have been flagged as critical, so it's a good idea to keep in mind the quick installation of new software.

In addition to the patch from Google, Samsung also decided to fix some things related to their own overlay. The fix was even a camera application and a feature that is responsible for the wireless charging of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus models. In addition, you can count on optimizations related to the work of both devices. As I mentioned earlier, the new update is distributed as an OTA – you should have it at home by the end of the week.Source: SamMobile
