There is a list of the chips we can expect under the hood of new smartphones from HMD Global. It looks like Nokia has nothing to hide anymore.
News from Nokia saw a few of them this year, but that's not all. We already know that this year HMD is going to present models 2,3 and 7 – the leaks on them are little until now. However, we will look at the list of processors, because it is the thing that interests us all the most. It is already known that the Nokia 3 is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 while the models marked 5 and 6 use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip. The list shows, however, that the upcoming Nokia 2 will use two different processors: both the weak MediaTek and the Snapdragon 212 . Upcoming models from HMD with numbers 7 and 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 630 and 660 respectively – two new processors for mid-range devices. It is also known that the flagship Nokia 9 will benefit from the strongest chip in the US – the Snapdragona 835. As you can see above, Nokia plans to continue its journey through the dense mid-range and low-cost segment. Personally, I am most looking forward to model 9, which can only show what HMD can become. Thanks to the cooperation with Carl Zeiss and top components, a real beast is getting ready. This does not mean that the weaker models are not worth the attention. Source: Baidu
