HTC is working on a new software update for the HTC U11. Thanks to leaks we already know what exactly we can expect – I must admit that it is worth waiting for this update.
Our HTC U11 test leaves no illusions – it's one of the most interesting Taiwanese manufacturer's smartphones. The equipment turned out to be a hen laying golden eggs – thanks to this model the company has a chance to get out of the crisis, which has been around for several good years. Soon, users who have decided to purchase this device will be able to install new software at home, which will bring quite a lot of new features and will improve U11 comfort. The new update is expected to bring the HTC flagship capable of recording movies at 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60 frames per second – so far, the HTC U11 is only capable of recording 30 frames per second. In addition, the Taiwanese are also planning to add full support to their flagship to display the sRGB color palette, which at the same time can be freely modified by the user. Up to now U11 can only change the color temperature. The new compilation is supposed to bring more possibilities to the display itself. With the update, we can also expect new security patches and performance optimizations. Unfortunately, we do not know whether we will see more features related to active frames – you will have to wait for this information. There is nothing else but to be patient. Source: XDA
