IPhone 8 will most likely receive a wireless charging feature. However, it may not be activated until iOS 11.1. Why this happens?
The iPhone 8 specification, which reports various leaks, indicates that the iPhone 8 should be a wireless charging feature . In addition to this, the same technology is expected to attract the other two models labeled as "7S" and "7S Plus". Most likely, however, wireless charging will have to be called inductive charging. All through the fact that smartphone uses an additional accessory to which you can put iPhone to be charged. Different manufacturers have been using such solutions for a long time by selling the right accessories to use this feature separately. The iPhone 8 also does not have an exception in this case. As if that was not enough, John Gruber recently chatted another rumor about the iPhone 8. According to him, wireless charging will be based on the use of an accessory, sold separately – as I mentioned above – and will not be active in the beginning . The gruber tells us that it is possible to replicate the situation with the portrait mode for taking pictures on iPhone 7. In view of the above, when buying new iPhones we will not use wireless charging until the feature is activated by the system update to iOS 11.1.
I've heard that inductive charging will be sold separately, and (b) might be late, waiting for iOS 11.1 (la Portrait mode last year). https://t.co/N65dHMNQIJ

For now, these are just rumors. John Gruber does not give a reason that would lead to these delays. It is also hard to imagine what exactly could cause such a problem if the hardware contained the appropriate components.
