Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be available next year. The new report claims that they will be equipped with different processors made in other technological processes. This means returning to the old strategy.
The Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphones were different in many fields, but since the launch of Galaxy Note 5, the Korean manufacturer has changed its strategy, making the Note series more "commercial". Then Samsung came to the conclusion that it makes no sense to put different processors in both models. This year it will be similar, but for the next generation of Samsung flagship we can expect some differences between the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 processors. The new report from China claims that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be powered by the Exynos 9810 chip, which will be made in the 10nm process of the second generation. As a result, power consumption is expected to fall by 15% compared to Exynos 8895 from Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which will appear in the second half of next year, will get a 7 or 8nm processor, so that it can clock up its clocks without increasing the energy demand. Currently, it is being developed as Exynos 9810, but this name may change so that this unit does not associate with this model, which will go to the Galaxy S9. The premier of both discussed devices is still a long way to go, but that does not mean that the information is invented. Processors are not built overnight, and the production schedule is developed even several years in advance. If the report tells the truth, then Galaxy Note 9 could have a big advantage over the Galaxy S9, which fans will be pleased to see – unless Samsung is going to roll up prices to the space level, since the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to cost 999 euros.
