One of the users of OnePlus 3 was surprised when he received a repair quote for a flooded phone. The service demands much more than its smartphone itself.
Aklank Jain owns OnePlus 3 , which he accidentally flooded. The man turned off the phone and dried it. It seemed that everything was playing, but a couple of days after the incident, the touch keys had stopped working under the screen. Aklank decided to take out insurance against accidental destruction of equipment and contacted the manufacturer's service through a dedicated application. OnePlus 3 has been repaired. And then the nightmare of its owner began. The service contacted Jain and informed him that the cost of repairing the smartphone exceeded the value of the insurance. An estimated cost estimate has been included, with a fee of over 48000 Indian rupees for the service. And it would be all right if this one copy of OnePlus 3 was not bought at the manufacturer's store for 28,000 rupees. This means that the service wants to repair more than 1.5 times more than the hardware itself . Probably none of you would agree to such a service, right? The service does not respond to complaints of the owner, so he complained to the appropriate institutions. The case is still in progress. Let's hope it ends with the consumer's thought.
