Four of the largest operators in Poland have updated their roaming tariffs by introducing new rates effective June 15. The best offer was prepared by Orange, where unlimited packages in the subscription offer also apply to roaming. What does it look like in Play, T-Mobile and Plus?
In accordance with Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2012 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2286 of 15 December 2016, operators are to change roaming charges by 15 June (EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), adjusting them to the new rates , in line with the "Roaming as country" principle . Unfortunately, not all operators look as beautiful as it seems.Play's new roaming offering is quite confusing, and the operator explains that prices are low enough compared to European ones that it is difficult to reduce them further. If your tariff is charged at the rate of your calls, text messages, MMS or Internet, your exact same amount will be roaming at no additional charge. If there are no quotes in the price list, and the case concerns no-limit offers, the user will receive a minute pool , SMS and MMS messages, and a data packet for use within 12 months. A separate pool refers to incoming calls – once used, each minute of a roaming call will cost you $ 0.05. Details can be found on the Play page. As far as T-Mobile is concerned, it will not pay more than 29 cents a minute for a voice call and 9 cents for a sent SMS, MMS or MB for roaming charges in the roaming zone. If the price is not quoted in a particular price list, the pink operator will use the minutes package as part of a fair use policy (eg 1500 minutes for incoming calls in the subscription). For more information on T-Mobile . As far as Plus, for outgoing calls, SMS and MMS roaming within the European Union, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, prices are reduced to national prices. As for incoming calls, their price is lowered, but only within the allocated periodic limit , after which the surcharge is added to the price. For details about the Internet and other information, see Communication and Pricing . Orange was the best deal. While traveling to the A1 zone countries, the customer will be able to use the service in the same way as in the country. If your subscription offers unlimited services, you will also be able to use them for roaming without worrying about additional costs. A user who does not use unlimited subscription offers will be charged at national rates, including free minutes. Prepaid customer will pay for services according to the price list which is valid in Poland. For more information, see in the press release, Orange and mobile pricing , where the same rules apply. It is worth remembering that each operator will follow the Fair Use Policy. In short, it works as follows: if the customer is more likely to use roaming services within 4 months than in the country, the operator will have the right to request clarification and, in case of irregularities, to impose additional charges.
