OnePlus 3T is a pretty good smartphone, but the premiere of the announced model 5 must surprise us. Otherwise, the Chinese producer will have to go a long way to sell his new flagship. What should improve OnePlus with respect to the previous model to make this happen?
I immediately point out that I treat this text more as a personal wish list than what actually appears in the new OnePlus flag. We know each other a little bit and every day we get to know the next piece of the look and specifications, but all functions will remain a mystery until the release. But what would he have to have OnePlus 5 to buy?
From the One model, the Chinese brand is constantly ramping up the displays at 1080p resolution. It is not bad, because with this resolution you can work, however, 2560 x 1440 pixels would be welcome . Taking into account what Samsung did on the Galaxy S8 and S8 + models, the Chinese brand might be looking at the Korean manufacturer's footsteps. Of course, I'm talking about the ability to dynamically change the resolution from QHD to full HD and full HD to HD. This would all translate into a more comfortable multimedia experience while still having the right options.
Most people do not need this point, but I like to know that I can safely use the device in the rain or other unpleasant atmospheres. LG, Samsung, and Sony are already offering a number of liquid-proof devices – why would OnePlus not do the same? Unfortunately, with the implementation of certificates and waterproofing, the price of the smartphone would probably increase. Well, something for something.
Now at 5.5 inches, the OnePlus 3T has a 3400 mAh battery. Not much, but not much, considering the components in the middle of the device. I would like the Chinese to take the example of Xiaomi and model 5 put a battery with a minimum of 4000 mAh . Yes, it could bounce on the thickness of the casing. I am ready for this sacrifice.
Refreshed design and audio solutions
The appearance of the OnePlus smartphone has changed over the years, but I would like to see a more aggressive design and something new – especially on the front panel. Surely OnePlus 5 would not have this awful, physical button under the display , and the reader itself would be transferred to the back cover. In terms of audio, the Chinese could implement the DAC 5 model as LG did in the Korean G6 model (which unfortunately can not be bought in Poland :(.) Better audio marketing would definitely attract more people. The number of users in addition to me, who care about sound quality is not so small! Last wish is a better speaker in the housing. Or speakers – preferably two, BoomSound style from HTC . Transparent stereo to play YouTube while lazing on Of course all this above, I can only dream of it …
