Yesterday debuted the new Nokia 3310. My first impressions are mixed, but I can see her potential. But it is refreshing, we needed?
The smartphone market has changed dramatically since the launch of the first iPhone. But even then there were phones with color display, a market dominated by sliders. A little earlier the leaders led Nokia 3310, which binds very good memories. I'm sure the same can be said every user of this phone. Nokia 3310 was just a reliable and sufficient for the tasks that she could handle. Yesterday presents a new installment of the Nokia 3310. Considering the fact that the name has not been changed at all, HMD Global planned from the beginning to knock on the sentiment for the old product. It was good memories to be leveraged marketing, one of the three new products "rebirth" of Nokia. Looking at the whole from a broader perspective, I see that this pattern is confirmed by the increasing number of activities of the Chinese company, which has taken over Nokia.presented earlier, Nokia 6 turned out to be really solidly constructed. The new Nokia 3310 has a very basic attributes, which stands out from the competition. I mean the possibility of removing the battery, month operation in the standby mode, the lack of support for Wi-Fi connectivity and the use of 2.5G. At the same time can handle a microSD card. The intention of the producer is so well depicted – the phone was sent to a user who needs basic functionality without the need to be distributed by all of which are famous for their smartphones. I believe that the new Nokia 3310 is the ideal spot for several reasons. First, it refers to the aforementioned sentiment, so the problem of occurrence in the eyes of the consumer practically does not exist. Secondly, the market lacks interesting and competitive solutions in this area, aimed at older or requiring the consumer. Thirdly – the price is not lethal, and by replacing the old handset to the new one – they will receive some news, are hard to find in old models (eg. A microSD card, camera or GPS). Besides, I am most surprised by two things – the consequent suspension of the HMD Global before willingness to add support for Wi-Fi and design of the new Nokia 3310. While the castration of this component can logically explain eg. A longer battery life, system or the desire to preserve the basic functionality, it "feminine design" smartphone not convince me. It seems to me that too streamlined shape is the only drawback of the new handset. Of course, it's mostly a matter of taste. I doubt, however, that the new Nokia 3310 has been directed mainly towards women's group. I silently hoped for more "rectangular" design in the style of an old edition. Persons who finished romances with smartphones from a variety of reasons, and changed to a simpler, older phones will present an interesting alternative. The new Nokia 3310 is ideally suited to their needs and I am sure they can become their next choice … if they do not discourage them refreshed look of the phone. Source: TechRadar own study
