The prototype VR goggles by AOC was first presented at the stand of the manufacturer at this year's gamescom.
During this year's gamescom brand AOC has presented a prototype of the copyright system of virtual reality. On the device itself, unfortunately, we know "next to nothing", but the more of this type of equipment on the market – the better for us, the end users. According to information made available from AOC there is mention of "copyright system virtual reality" which simply may mean that we have to deal with headset'em on the model of HTC VIVE, or device equipped with a system for tracking the user's movements, and perhaps even VR controllers.
As one of the leaders in the display industry we strive to excel in solutions related to the display image – both those laid on the desks and directly in front of our eyes. I am convinced that our system of virtual reality is a bridgehead for more interesting products that will be released in the near future – Stefan Sommer, director of marketing and business management in EMEA.
AOC is planning to extend its offer beyond the monitors, while still remaining within the devices used to display the image. In Cologne on 18-21 August, the gamescom visitors had the first opportunity to see the VR goggles by AOC. Source: Press releases.
