Gionee working on a new phablet, whose main advantage (at least for some) will be robust technical specification combined with an enormous, as much as 6-inch AMOLED display.
Gionee GN8001 just appeared in Chinese certification office (Tena), so we got to know almost full specifications and appearance of this phabletu. Its main feature is the 6-inch display is made in AMOLED technology, which Lollipop Android 5.1 will be presented in Full HD (1920×1080), which in my opinion is still a value sufficient, even for such a large screen. The heart of this device is unknown processor whose eight cores will be clocked at 1.3 GHz. Personally, I put here on MediaTek MT6735 system, known even from the tested by us Meizu m2 note, but as I said these are just my guesses. However, if they are proved, then adding the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for your files, we can say that it will be a strong representative of the mid-range. The rest of the specifications complement the 8 or 13-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel cam for video calls and battery with a capacity of 5020 mAh, which should ensure solid operating time on a single charge. The whole is enclosed in a housing with a fairly classic for Chinese producers 160.7x81x8.2mm appearance and dimensions and weight of 206 grams. Unfortunately, it is not known anything about the price, date of debut or proper name Gionee GN8001, but the appearance of this phabletu database heralds the launch of Tena in a relatively short period of time.
