Microsoft's mobile assistant, Cortana, was made available as a private beta back in July. However, from today it is now available to the public. Unfortunately, only for United States users.
Cortana was officially announced in April 2014. It was to be Microsoft's answer to Siri. Since then, Microsoft gradually seemed to her regional versions. Unfortunately, so far not announced our own, Polish version. However, in May this year, contrary to earlier denials, Microsoft said it will release version of its voice assistant that will be for users of Android and iOS. Cortana for Android is very similar to the one we know from the mobile operating system from Microsoft. We have access to the notebook, can show us different from the world of sport, politics or exchange. At the moment it lacks a feature that wybudzałaby Cort after uttering the words "Hey Cortana," as it does on some headphones with mobile windows, or on computers with Windows 10. However, as it were instead available option that will allow for that When you hold the home button that will start us Cortana instead of Google Now. Honestly, I do not know what to think about the fact that Microsoft makes it available for other systems. Probably translate into its popularity. However, I would prefer that Microsoft first launched more local versions for Windows, and only then think about other operating systems. Frankly hanging, do not be surprised if the first Polish Cort see on Android, and then on Windows. Source: The Verge
